    Enter "/invite @RikaiAI" in all channels you want RikaiAI to translate in.

    Set Your Languages

    Enter "/config-rikaiai workspace language" and configure your language pairs. By default, RikaiAI translates all non-English messages to English.

Which countries are supported?
Due to regulatory and operational reasons, our services are currently not available in the EU/EEA and in the following countries: Afghanistan, Argentina, Belarus, Burundu, Central African Republic, China, Cuba, Iran, Iraq, North Korea, Lebanon, Libya, Mali, Moldova, Niger, Russia, Serbia, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Syria, Yemen.

How many language pairs can I make?
There is no limit. Based on your configuration, RikaiAI can translate from, for example, Japanese to German and Italian, Italian to English, and even English to 18 or so other languages.
What are billable points?
To further give value to our customers at discounted prices, we track usage via billable points. Each character is equivalent to:
- user message: 1 billable point
- 1st translation: 0 billable points (the user message is instead counted)
- 2nd translation: 0.5 billable points (50% off)
- 3rd translation and onwards: 0.25 billable points (75% off)
- edited user message: 0.125 billable points (87.5% off; this is based on the previous message length to prevent abuse)
Can I set limits to our billable points consumption?
Yes! Limits can be set for each workspace and channel. If translating a message would exceed the imposed limits, its translation would be trimmed so that the limits aren't exceeded.
How does RikaiAI detect the message's language?
For example, English and Italian both use the word "test". If your workspace or channel only has English configured, "test" would always be considered as English. If neither are configured in your workspace, "test" may be considered "Unknown", and RikaiAI will attempt to translate it based on your configurations for "Unknown". We use a combination of self-hosted solutions for language detection.
Are Slack messages stored in your systems?
We never store Slack messages. We only keep the message in memory only for the purposes and duration needed to provide our translation services.
How will we be charged?
We will charge you on a monthly basis based on your usage. If you have not used RikaiAI in a month, you will not be charged.
